Downtown Hinesville Sets Stage National Country Artist at Bryant Commons

(March 28, 2013 – Hinesville, Ga.) The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority is busy finishing last minute details to next weekend’s big country concert. Saturday, April 6 national recording artist Darryl Worley and newly recorded Savannah favorite Chuck Courtenay will take stage at the Amphitheater at Bryant Commons. This concert will be the first of its caliber and kind in downtown Hinesville celebrating the new venue and music scene.
Worley and Courtenay will perform on Saturday, April 6 starting at 6 p.m. The live performance will celebrate the completion of the 1,500 seat, grassy hill-side venue, located in beautiful Downtown Hinesville. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the gate and can be purchased at www.etix.com.
A noted performer on the country music scene for almost 15 years, Worley has had sixteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, including three number ones: “I Miss My Friend,” “Awful, Beautiful Life”, and “Have You Forgotten?”, which was inspired by the events of September 11, 2011 and was nominated for a Country Music (CMA) Award for Single of the Year.
A rising regional star with a Nashville recording contract, singer and guitarist Courtenay finds inspiration in the work of iconic honky-tonk and outlaw country artists like Waylon Jennings. His shows are known for their high energy and heartfelt performances.
No-on site parking will be available. Ticket purchasers are encouraged to park in public parking lots located on E. M L King Jr Dr. across from police department and on W. M L King Jr Dr. behind Main St. businesses. Transportation will be provided by Liberty Transit at established bus routes on M L King Jr Dr. and on General Screven. Cost for transportation is $2 round trip and paid upon entering bus. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, low beach chair, ID to purchase beer, and tickets. Items not permitted on-site include outside food and beverage, glass containers, pets, professional audio and video equipment, tents, umbrellas and coolers.
