Volunteer

There are several volunteer opportunities available for every interest at the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority. These opportunities are perfect for students or other professionals looking to add experience to their resume. Or someone who is looking to give back to the community!

Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Museum coordination
Coordinate and facilitate tours of the Old Liberty County Jail Museum, manage Museum Gift Shop to include sales, inventory, and product order, and general maintenance of the facility.
Graphic Design
Create flyers, Ads, brochures, and more!
Photography
Create and edit photography from events, downtown shops and businesses, and current development projects.
Event Staff
Assist with general duties at events such as GA Cities week events, Farmer's Market, Small World Festival, Blues & BBQ, OktoberFest, Christmas in the Park, and more! See events for more information.
Scrapbooking
Organize and create scrapbook pages from pictures and newspaper clippings.
Social Networking
Keep updated MySpace and FACEBOOK pages, post pictures, post blogs, and more! Also, send out updates on Twitter.
Website Maintenance
Assist HDDA with website maintenance by posting new information and updating as needed.
Office duties
General office duties as needed.
